Are you a marketer who loves building strategies as much as executing them? Then here is your opportunity to lead Sales & Marketing from idea to operation for the LEGO® House, manage a team and representing the brand on a global scale in a highly cross-functional role? Communicate the unique experience to relevant target groups globally We are in the process of establishing the first ever LEGO House to open in the heart of Billund in 2016. Our vision is to showcase our brand’s DNA; the history, nature and future of LEGO Play. To brand this flagship, you will use your marketing knowledge to make sure that the LEGO House brand is brought to life in the most efficient and cost-effective way. Your responsibility falls into 3 main phases: The planning phase, including defining the strategy and maximising value of the allocated budget through the ideal mix of relevant marketing tools such as PR, web, viral, TV, print, communities, trading partners, etc. The pre-launch/launch phase starting 1½-1 year prior to opening, including increasing marketing focus and further developing the existing website, building the team and setting the expectations on a global scale The operational phase once the LEGO House has opened, including delivering the budgeted turn-over and guest visits as well as planning marketing on a continuous basis and keeping the momentum going, ensuring ongoing vitalisation and re-visits Drive a world class concept from idea to launch through a connected community In a culture that is famous for collaboration and creativity, you will play a key role in shaping the LEGO House Sales & Marketing. In doing so, you will truly get a feel of being part of a family-owned business that offers a supportive network and a team structure in this beacon for the entire LEGO Group with focus from key stakeholders. The actual house is quite remarkable, as it is designed by Bjarke Ingels' BIG Architects and built by giant LEGO Bricks to illustrate the systematic creativity that is at the very core of LEGO Play. You will join a very dedicated LEGO House project team who feel extremely privileged to work on this project. Online marketing professional with great stakeholder management skills You will be challenged on your ability to deliver within an area that is a supplement to the LEGO Group's core competence, and your initial focus will be on delivering on the project phase, however you must be able to deliver on operations too. To actively develop and execute on a multichannel marketing campaign for very diverse target groups globally and with a long-term perspective, you: Hold 8+ years of experience in online marketing across multiple platforms and/or other marketing disciplines, ideally from a premium consumer brand or digital agency Have a visitor-centric orientation and experience in acting and developing based on visitor insights A track record of developing and executing on a marketing strategy, giving you full understanding of the digital retail landscape and the dynamics of online channels and how to fuel community growth and management Excellent analytical skills, a passion for data metrics and the ability to turn analysis into the creation, execution and actionable digital insights as well as the ability to deliver presentations confidently and with a strong and compelling narrative Establish a team and collaborative culture inside the LEGO House as well as with stakeholders Join the global family of LEGO In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment.
