Global Sales Portfolio Analyst Supply Chain Planning, Global Portfolio Planning Global Portfolio Planning is a department in the Supply Chain Planning (SCP) organization. The department is responsible for short and long term forecasting accuracy. We are gatekeepers in ensuring that Vestas’ sales project portfolio will mature timely before release for production. We influence, develop and monitor appropriate production planning activities that support the Sales and Construction organization, and thereby create the appropriate balance between customer service and cost optimization. Responsibilities: In this position you will act as the main point of contact and support between Supply Chain Planning organization and the Business Units in order to meet customer and business needs and achieve demand planning stability. Your key responsibilities will be to: Monitor & influence systems data quality with the assistance of the sales and projects coordinators Check the consistency of Sales Forecasts to be used for demand and production planning Proactively seek and address Supply/Demand gaps and provide analysis, options, solutions, recommendations as well as presenting findings at SCP meetings Provide timely and accurate information for the Supply Chain Planning Review Process Anticipate and manage risk of obsolete inventory and allocation of the same. Align initiatives between Turbines, R&D and Sales Business Units Develop/maintain Supply Chain tools for Sales Portfolio and Sales business units Drive and Participate in long term Sales and Supply Chain Planning Scenarios Obtain approval and manage Release for Production Increase focus on optimizing revenue and contribution margin Qualifications: Hold a bachelor degree as a minimum Previous experience within a corporate environment, ideally within supply chain. Competencies: Advanced Microsoft Office skills (advanced-user capabilities with Excel) Full working proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Six Sigma - Green Belt and Lean Manufacturing experience will be highly regarded You must to be able to run daily operational tasks – balanced with a holistic and cross functional view in problem solving.
