We are looking for a SAP Supply Chain architect to lead IT and business in transforming our Supply Chain to meet our Profitable Growth strategy. Global IT/Manufacturing & Supply: Supply Chain Planning, Construction & Transport The Supply chain Planning, Construction and Transport team in Vestas Global IT act as advisors and facilitators to key business stakeholders develops longer term business and IT roadmaps. When executing the roadmaps our main responsibilities are too engage with business stakeholders to ensure business services and related solutions are appropriately designed, developed and optimized across their lifecycle and that the IT offerings are safeguarded. We also engage with business to ensure continuous improvement and maximized utilization of applications in order to optimize value and reduce risk of already implemented services and solutions. Responsibilities: You will engage across Vestas Value chain taking lead on application of IT to S&OP, production planning scenarios and logistics execution hereby driving the IT and Business roadmap towards key Supply chain stakeholders. In the role as Supply Chain Architect your responsibilities will be: Single point of reference for business process leaders for align business demands and IT Plan and align business demands and IT enabling our strategy Lead optimal solution architecture in Supply Chain projects Inspire business on how to get value from IT Responsible for development and execution of the Supply Chain roadmap You will work on different projects supporting both our Construction Project Supply chain and Service (Aftermarket) supply chain e.g. are projects running in both areas introducing SAP IBP. You will be overall responsible for the solution design in projects. Detailed Development will typically be handled by an external partner, but you will need to interact with these external partners on development activities and related governance to ensure quality in the delivery. Qualifications: You have an educational background as Production Engineer, MBA or Master of IT. You worked more than 10 years in a similar role as architect, consultant or advisor either in the wind industry, a similar industry or a consultancy. Through your work you gained extensive experience with bridge-building between IT and the business. You are used to drive and facilitate workshops e.g. with upper management creating future plans or hosting and facilitating workshops in a multicultural environment where you need to drive requirement elicitation and process alignment. Competencies: SAP: Extensive experience in SAP is a prerequisite: +10 years - IBP, APO, PP. Ideally you have worked with SAP IBP - but alternatively gained a lot of experience working with SAP APO. You have a broad and deep understanding of core ECC components e.g. PP or PS.
