Do you want to be a key driver in developing winning portfolio concepts for advanced SCADA, IP network and offshore communication systems across international wind farms? Join us and become SCADA Engineer in our SCADA department which is responsible for engineering phases within automation of wind power systems. Together with 32 engineer colleagues, you will ensure the development and implementation of automation and communication solutions for offshore windfarms. Our tasks include specification design and implementation of control systems and you will work closely together with our two specialist departments in SCADA: Control and Communication. The department is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be working on projects in Northern Europe and you may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work, and you will be working at the international construction sites for shorter periods of time. Your key duties will be to provide portfolio solutions provide a specification, design and sourcing model for standard automation module packages, designed in the product line and procured and implemented in the asset projects optimise current concepts and develop and implement new long-term portfolio concepts together with our preferred suppliers, our Procurement teams and various engineering stakeholders. Your qualifications and core competences include that you have an engineering degree in IT or electrical engineering have experience within supplier contracting and project management have extensive experience with developing technical specifications for commercial contracts have relevant experience, preferably from the energy sector or engineering consultancy speak and write English fluently. Furthermore, you are a team player and have a goal-oriented approach to your work. You have a strong drive and are able to take a leading role. You strike the appropriate balance between delegation and personal execution. Experience within the following disciplines will be an advantage: SCADA for substation control, SCADA for WTG control, basis TCP/IP network competence, standardisation and modular engineering, project management within the automation area.
