Scientific proof sources support a broad variety of commercial activities in Radiometer, and they are vital in supporting the sales of Radiometer Medicals products. As Scientific Product Specialist you are responsible for supporting the marketing and sales organization with relevant scientific proof sources relating to analytical performance. In addition, you will own the process for establishing and maintaining tools that enable the international sales organization and the in-house clinical and scientific affairs functions for Blood gas and Immunoassay to execute commercial activities fast, efficiently, and reliably with scientific proof sources. You will work with many colleagues across the organization, but your key collaboration will be with two in-house clinical and scientific affairs functions: the subject matter experts in R&D and product managers in the sales subsidiaries. You will be based in our office in Copenhagen. The clinical and scientific affairs functions for Blood Gas and Immunoassay is a dynamic team with the goal of supporting the commercial functions of Radiometer. At the same time, we support our customers in the hospital environment with enabling optimal patient care by supporting the pre-analytical, analytical and clinical subject matter fields. Travel is estimated to be 30 days per year, but can vary. The job We expect our new colleague to make a real difference in dealing with the increasing need for supporting the Radiometer sales and marketing organization with timely and relevant scientific proof sources, while manoeuvring in an environment with a growing legal and regulatory complexity. Our Blood Gas and Immunoassay teams are challenged with upcoming product introductions adding a surplus need for managing, producing and actively utilizing scientific proof sources. You will be responsible for: •Actively supporting the sales and marketing organization in the use of analytical performance proof sources. •Building a sustainable process for distributing scientific proof sources to sales and marketing organizations. •Evaluating relevance of publications on analytical performance and make publications for use in the sales process. •Establishing and maintaining efficient methods for capturing and retrieving relevant scientific proof sources, including a sustainable method for internal archiving. •Active surveillance and updates to existing tools and products. •Active surveillance of upcoming publications and identification of relevant publications channels. •Training and other types of support activities when relevant. •Supporting the competitor surveillance team.
