At Vestas, Service SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) we are constantly optimizing the service supply chain in order to deliver on time to our customers, and at the same time have an optimized supply chain with low inventory and efficient set up. It is an ever developing task in a fast paced environment. You will be part of the newly established department Inventory Management residing within Service SIOP with the global responsibility for reaching our inventory turn targets by analyzing the stock distribution and plan, initiate and execute relevant activities to increase turn rates and balance our inventories globally. We are looking for an energetic, well-structured and theoretical well founded SCM planner to join the team. As the team is residing at the heart of the Vestas Global Service SCM functions and as such are involved in handling and analyzing a large amount of data and is engaged with many stakeholders across the globe giving the excellent candidate opportunity to get a deep insight in the SCM setup of an international company and achieve a positive impact on the overall targets. Responsibilities: Drive and support the development of concepts and models to optimize service inventories across the globe Operationalize and execute on already existing tactical targets on inventory management Ensure targets are met and generate counter measures if timelines are at risk Be an active player in the team effort of identifying further potentials Identify and involve business stakeholders Drive the implementation new policies within area of responsibility Support the business with ad hoc analysis concerning inventory Qualifications: The right candidate can have several years of experience or be a newly graduated candidate M.Sc. or Bachelor degree in SCM, logistics or similar Knowledge of the functional segregations along a value chain Knowledge of SAP and solid experience with the Microsoft Office package Proven experience with participation in value chain optimization projects is an advantage Competencies: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma and daily management within supply chain is an advantage Good communication skills verbally and in written form Good system and business understanding Knowledge of ERP systems is a requirement. MS Excel, intermediate level Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Working style is well structured, precise and persistent.
