Sted: Esbjerg

 

You will be responsible for coordinating the security work carried out by your more than 120 IT colleagues.

You will work inside our Information Security team and will ensure that the operational security tasks are aligned with the new security architecture you help design.

Specifically, you will:

• Own the security architect responsibility across the organization

• Coordinate and manage the work with security in the operations and development organizations where we have dedicated resources for security

• Motivate and educate the IT departments about security through workshops and demos

• Ensure coordination with internal and external resources (suppliers, consultants etc.)

• Take well defined security projects and execute them – with a focus on being pragmatic

• Ensure a constant flow of progress on security in the IT departments

• Participate in other architectural work in IT (like ERP, O365, DOCSIS etc.) and ensure that security is built into new products and improved in existing systems

• Prioritize security tasks across the IT departments

• Work with your colleagues in the Information Security team to ensure internal security projects are executed, tracked, and reported on

• Finally you will participate in incident response activities together with the rest of the security team

 

Please note you must be able, and willing to pass several security clearances, and retain them as long as you hold the position.

Hands-on position
You have a passion for and, of course, a sound understanding of cyber security. Relevant certifications are a plus, especially those that are hands on and deal with offensive/defensive security.

You know Nmap, and you feel at home in a Linux and Windows shell. You can leverage existing tools to your advantage to get the job done. You are not afraid to script your way out of tedious tasks – perhaps using python. Most of all, you are curious, eager to learn new things.

Your communication, especially in written form, is concise and clear, to avoid misunderstanding and confusion. Fluency in written and spoken English or Danish is a prerequisite. You can speak to both the techs and the business.

It goes without saying that you are a team player, happy to share information, workload and experience. You are a people person, you also keep a cool head in stressful situations and are able to understand complex IT environments and are happy to deal with many concurrent tasks.

More than anything, you are a “getting things done” person and are happy to dive in and solve the problems together with the IT specialists.
