Then you might be the Segment Manager we are looking for in Danfoss High Pressure Pumps to develop and manage our Ultra Pure Water (UPW) segment, which today generates a significant annual turnover. Creating a successful UPW strategy and securing ambitious growth targets As a Segment Manager it will be your overall mission to create and execute a successful market positioning strategy. We will rely on you to ensure year over year market growth by utilizing our products’ unique value propositions and differentiators towards the target groups within Ultra Pure Water. With your personal drive and structured approach, you will be the key player who creates a solid overview of customers, markets and competitors, track and record activities within your segment and help to close deals to meet the targets. Furthermore, you will be the key player who: •Creates a lead generation model for the UPW segment •Attends industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market, technical and creative trends •Identifies opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales (in cooperation with sales) •Presents to and consults with mid- and senior level management on business trends in order to develop new services, products and distribution channels •Conceptualizes and designs promotion material, sales tools, etc. •Works with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled in a timely manner •Presents business development training and mentoring to internal staff Proactive mindset, business development experience and technical acumen You have a master’s degree in business administration, technical acumen and a natural interest in technical products and applications. You have solid working experience within business development and can demonstrate a track record where you have been creating results through direct and third party teams. You are structured and proactive, and you have well-developed cooperation competences which you can apply among a diverse group of colleagues. Finally, you are a holistic and fact based pragmatic decision maker who understands how to work in a global company with many different cultures. Last but not least, you both have the capacity and desire for personal and professional growth. Fluency in written and spoken English is a prerequisite for this position.
