Do you want to use your management skills to lead the costing department in Supply Chain Finance?

This is an exciting and challenging position with the opportunity to influence and shape Supply Chain Finance across Arla.  You will play a significant role in defining and communicating price development within our production and logistics functions, as a crucial link between our Supply Chain and Commercial departments.  You will get to partake in interesting costing projects while enjoying a broad network across the Arla organization.

Be the head of our Supply Chain Costing department

You join 150 colleagues in our Supply Chain Finance department at our headquarters in Aarhus, where you can expect around 10 travel days per year within Europe. You will head our Costing department, which consist of 5 talented colleagues responsible for our costing principles and processes. Moreover, you will lead and drive our costing community across the Arla Foods Supply Chain comprising 50 production sites plus logistics hubs.  

Together with your team, you will be responsible for:

• Leadership of the costing department with 5 colleagues
• Reporting the monthly impact  of changes in product cost and logistic rates to Commercial and Supply Chain
• Driving projects to optimize processes and increase transparency within Supply Chain Finance
• Ensuring that the organisation and structure within the costing area works in the most efficient manner
• Managing the product and logistic principles  and develop supporting tools
• Driving  the global costing community

Engaging communicator with great leadership skills

This role requires you to have excellent communication skills, enabling you to communicate the cost effects across the Supply Chain and Commercial. And you know how to answer - even if the communication brings questions or challenges. Moreover, you are a great leader who can motivate and drive your team independently.

• You have a degree in Economics and/or Business Administration
• You have a few years of experience with SAP and cost accounting from a large production organisation, and you master the MS Office package
• You have a few years of management experience with the skills to inspire and lead a team to success.
• You are a skilled communicator, who thrives in a complex setting and solve your challenges with good cooperation with different stakeholders
• you bring a combination of supply chain knowledge and commercial awareness to provide sharp insights to a diverse range of stakeholders 
• You speak and write English effortlessly
