As part of the continued development of Maersk Oil’s corporate Global Safety Operations function, we are strengthening our Corporate Quality team. The position will support the Quality Team Lead in the build, implementation and improvement of the company’s Management System In addition, as a member of the Quality team, the role will contribute to the development and successful delivery of Maersk Oil’s Business Priorities. We Offer In a vibrant and international environment, the Quality team is responsible for maintenance of company’s management system including providing the management system framework, standards, tools, training and improvement plans. As owners of the Global management system and as the centre of expertise for business processes, our work brings us into contact with all Maersk Oil’s corporate and business entities, plus the wider A. P. Møller Mærsk (APMM) Group. Key Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will be to: • Support the Quality Team Lead in delivery of the strategy and objectives for the Governance, Systems and Reporting function. • Support the business in the implementation, delivery and continual improvement of Maersk Oil Global Management System. • Assist with rolling out of Management System documents and the training of users • Act as focal point for corporate functions in Maersk Oil and the BUs in development and implementation of the Management System tool and content, required to support Maersk Oil’s overall strategy and objectives • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the management system. Who we are looking for You are a self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and within a team environment. You possess strong follow up, organisation and prioritisation skills with excellent attention to detail. You are comfortable speaking effectively and communicating directly with all levels of personnel including members of senior management teams and able to make presentations, both verbally and in written form. You know how to resolve problems where general standardisation and operating procedures are not working effectively and you are effective and efficient in processing of management system documentation. You need to be fluent in written and spoken English. Your experience comes primarily from working at a corporate level in a complex multi-national oil company, preferably in a Management System related role. This experience will ideally have been gained across a number of business, operational, project management, and functional roles. Experience of working with other operators and an international profile is desirable. From a more technical point of view you have a clear understanding of both HSE and broader business processes and practices, including global best practices and approaches in relation to Management Systems. You have knowledge and comprehension of the lifecycle of the Oil and Gas industry both onshore and offshore across both established and new and regulatory regimes.
