As a senior BI Consultant, you will be conducting full lifecycle analysis including gathering requirements, designing and interpreting data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports. You will also develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Core Responsibilities
• Link between the business and the Big Data platform team
• Own, test and learn via new tools for our Big Data platform and implement further into the business
• Be part of the implementation of a new CRM for our eCommerce site
• Develop a total LEGO Retail Data Eco system
• Manage LEGO Retails none SAP data platforms, both contact and communication with data capturing partners as well as data quality
• Be the sparring partner for the business and our advanced analytics team

As part of the LEGO Retail Business Intelligence team you will become part of a very young and developing team. The data sources at our disposal are many and your role as a BI Consultant will be to help us structure, implement and make sense of these many data sources.
Your ownership will be all none SAP related data sources within LEGO Retail and further you will be empowered to test and learn together with the IT teams whom are currently building the capability to work with Big Data. At the same time you will be the link to the commercial side to implement and strengthen our capability to work with multiple data sources in a structured and resourceful way with the primary goal to increase a customized shopper experience for each shopper visiting one of our LEGO Retail touch points both online and in store.
Do you have what it takes?
• Master degree in a BI / Information Technology -related field or equivalent working experience
• At least 5-6 years of experience within data implementation, data systems or data consultancy
• Knowledge of new Big data systems and tools, currently in LEGO we work mainly with R and Python on a Cloudera platform
• Strong project management & organizational/prioritization skills: Proven track record of being able to manage several projects/tasks at one time.
• Strong Stakeholder Management skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders or departments outside of immediate teams
• Willingness to travel internationally (total travel time 5-10%)
