We are looking for a Senior Blade Engineer for our newly established division, Skagen Service and Aftersales (SSA). SSA consists of three business units specialised in service and maintenance of blades, technical training of blade technicians, and leading edge protection for blades.
Our new colleague will have a cross-functional function in SSA with focus on developing and implementing new solutions and products within our core areas.

The role as Senior Blade Engineer within service and maintenance is new in our organisation, and there will be great opportunities for shaping the job together with the manager. We wish our new colleague to:
- have a degree in engineering with work experience from blade manufacturing and/or blade service.
- be experienced in running test programs of new products.
- share his or her work time between practical work and office work.
- be experienced in developing and implementing new solutions.
- speak and write English fluently.
- be able to communicate technical knowledge to colleagues in the production both in speech and in writing.
- be experienced in presenting technical topics to customers and other stakeholders.
- be willing to travel if required. We expect no more than 50 travel days per year.
- Have good team player skills.
To be successful in the role as Senior Blade Engineer, you will need to have a structured approach to the development of ideas and problem solving. It is natural for you to take the responsibility for completing your tasks and projects on time. You are able to think and act strategically as well as rolling up your sleeves to perform operational tasks if needed. You view the production test area as a playground for testing new ideas, and are able to follow projects through all the way from test to full implementation.
