As Senior Business Controller you will be a part of our strong Business Support with a direct interaction with our Management Team, Asset Team, Rig Teams, Commercial and other departments. Key Responsibilities As Senior Business Controller we see you as a driving force in supporting our Management, Asset Teams and other departments with excellent financial support. You will be a member of one of our Asset Teams having a direct influence for the performance of a group of drilling rigs. This involves an open and supportive dialog, accurate and useful management reporting, deep dive analysis and support to the Asset Team in all financial matters. You will supply direct support to the Asset Manager and assist the rig teams in increasing their performance. You will provide insights on the financial performance and initiate/support various projects to further enhance performance of the Asset Team. As Senior Business Controller you will furthermore take part in controlling and group reporting on business unit level and be involved in projects across the business unit. The position reports directly to the Head of Business Support. Who we are looking for We seek the highest caliber talent with an proven track record at this level. You are an experienced and committed person who is passionate about driving business performance and likes to be part of a dynamic environment and one of the fastest growing business units in Maersk. You are self-confident with drive, high sense of urgency and ability to prioritise. You can work independently and in teams. You are extrovert and a strong communicator. You hold a Master in Management, Finance or equivalent education and at least 5+ years of experience in a multi-national firm or one of the Big Four. Other qualifications: • Fluent command of written and spoken English • Ability to handle the pressures arising from having to meet deadlines and targets. • Excellent problem solving skills • Ability to business partner across functions • Knowledge of IFRS • Experience with HFM is a plus • Willingness to travel 6-8 weeks per calendar year. • Ability to demonstrate use of our values in the daily work • Experience with the oil exploration industry is a distinct advantage.
