For our Offshore Business Unit located in Vejle (DK), we are looking for a Senior Business Developer in the Regional Development Office who will thrive in an intense cross-functional dynamic environment. As part of an expanding wind offshore industry, the Regional Development team aims to connect the global expertise and the local specific needs to enable profitable growth in new markets.

What are my responsibilities?

As a Senior Business Developer you will be responsible to develop and facilitate market entry processes for selected countries (global scope). Your detailed responsibilities will include:

  • Drive progress of all market entry related activities by managing parts of the process as well as specific countries and facilitating and guiding key cross functional decisions
  • Deliver structured information to decision-makers in the organization and participate in strategic discussions with the purpose to maintain our leading position in the offshore market
  • Take a leading role in the development of the department in terms of process blueprints, reporting tools, structuring and analysis of data and sparring with junior employees
  • Manage and drive internal projects and activities 

What do I need to qualify for this position?

  • You have a Master degree, preferable within the fields of Business Administration, Engineering or similar
  • You have approximately 5 or more years of related professional experience in the areas of strategy, business development, project management, market intelligence or consultancy
  • You are innovative and open to new ways of thinking and you have a result and quality oriented approach to our assignments.
  • You also have a strong strategic judgment and an analytical mindset and you thrive in a fast-paced and international environment
  • You possess outstanding interpersonal and intercultural sensitivity to effectively communicate and gain commitment to action amongst diverse teams
  • You have experience in driving large and cross functional projects with high exposure to Senior Management
  • You are self-motivated and have the ability to perform with minimal supervision
  • You are able to manage multiple projects and processes simultaneously
  • Furthermore, you are an advanced user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience from the energy or wind power industry would be an advantage
