The Role

Your new role will be driving sales initiatives to our international pharma and biotech customers in our Serving Pharma business. Unilabs Serving Pharma business is organised out of Unilabs Copenhagen office. This business focus is to deliver lab analysis services for clinical trials and advanced central labs service solutions for Companion Diagnostic testing, drawing from best in class diagnostic expertise in Centres of Excellence in both Copenhagen and elsewhere in the Unilabs Group As an integral part of the Serving Pharma Business Development Team and with a dotted line to the Managing Director of Unilabs DK, you will be working to build our market share and generating new business with both new accounts and segments. The role is customer facing and traveling will be required to meet with your international customers and to coordinate internally with your European Unilabs colleagues.

Part of the team responsibility is to drive sales and to Unilabs´ domestic HealthCare accounts. You will analyse the market, understand trends, identify market needs and clearly recognise how best to deliver value to accounts with the goal of proactively grow the Unilabs Serving Pharma business.





Day-to-day responsibilities:

Identify and close business opportunitiesBuild and maintain relationships with key accounts and key influencers and manage peer-to-peer relationshipsCreate and build business development strategies and sales processes based on market research and client feedback in close collaboration with other commercial team members Walk in costumers shoes and translate Unilabs offerings to meet customer needsIdentify account opportunities, develop account plans and tactics, and execute against these to achieve sales quotasDrive collection of market and competitive intelligence and leverage all Unilabs Serving Pharma business resources (Executives, SME´s and supporting business units) to assist in building customer relationshipsParticipate in corporate initiatives and workgroups for stimulating supporting Group sales efforts

Education and experience

Relevant scientific degree, management courses are advantageous but not essentialProven track record of complex b-2-b selling5-10 year experience in account management or sales/business development from CRO, diagnostic/laboratory services, outsourcing management in Pharma or similarExperience with development of segment specific go-to-market strategies and messagingAbility to work autonomously to manage accounts and practice high level of business integrityAn acknowledged high performer in his/her current businessStrong presentation capabilitiesDanish is not a prerequisite, English at presentation and negotiation level, another European language is desirable.
