For our Procurement department within our Supply Chain Management organization located in Brande we are looking for a Senior Buyer to contribute to our growing business, due to the fact that we are expanding our sourcing activities within the area of strategic procurement. What are my responsibilities? · Responsible for the implementation of our sourcing strategy within the area of Fasteners, which also includes the establishment and maintenance of relationships with various existing or potential suppliers · Performing global supplier market scan with focus on identifying new suppliers and technologies · Forming and implementing commodity strategies to ensure long-term cost-efficient supply of materials · Establishing cost control and cost transparency in the defined area of responsibility · Preparing, conducting and leading negotiations for Purchasing Volumes to obtain highest feasible savings · Analyzing and controlling the contractual agreements in order to prepare renegotiations / subsequent negotiations · Producing price forecasts and internal figures to supply budget data for corporate planning and reporting · Establishing delivery concepts with suppliers to ensure flexibility in the supply chain in close cooperation with the logistical department What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a relevant Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of professional experience within the areas of strategic procurement, procurement management or supply chain management, preferably from an international company · You possess profound technical knowledge of SAP material management · You are a skilled negotiator with strong analytical and outstanding communication skills · As a person you are independent, open minded and proactive and you have a systematic and structured approach to your assignments · You are a dedicated team player thriving in a dynamic environment with many cross-cultural interfaces · Additionally, you have excellent English skills both orally and in writing and you are an advanced user of Microsoft Excel In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
