Do you want to be part of defining market-leading service solutions and drive negotiations of new service agreements for our offshore wind farms? Join us as Senior Commercial Manager in our Service Agreements department, which is responsible for defining the strategic objectives and specifications for our wind turbine service & warranty agreements and has the business lead in contract negotiations. The value of the service & warranty agreements is a 3-digit DKK million amount. The department is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in Denmark and Northern Europe in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility Your primary responsibility will be to lead the tender preparation and evaluation processes as well as to negotiate service & warranty agreements for wind turbines. Prior to tendering and negotiating service & warranty agreements, you will ensure development of new and improved service concepts and implementation of best practice and contractual knowledge for strategic sourcing agreements. Following the tender and negotiation processes, you will facilitate hand-over of and advice on the implementation of service & warranty agreements in preparation for service commencement. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •carry out analyses and projects related to tactical or strategic activities •administrate and efficiently follow-up on all deliverables required from internal stakeholders and suppliers as part of the tender and negotiation processes •ensure efficient reporting to senior management •ensure collaboration and alignment with key internal stakeholders, in particular Product Line and Asset Project, Asset Integrity Management (technical department), Offshore Logistics, Procurement, Legal and Site Management. Your profile You have a master’s degree in business administration or economics, a strategic and commercial mind-set and several years’ working experience. You have experience with service agreements and/or operation and maintenance of major assets, contract negotiation and project management, and preferably experience within business development as well as good insight into offshore wind power operation. A keen interest in understanding the relations between technical and commercial issues is a prerequisite. It is important that you like to challenge status quo, have a result-oriented approach to your assignments and work in a structured manner. Your project management skills enable you to deliver on several projects successfully and simultaneously. Furthermore, you thrive on working both independently and in teams. Finally, you have an outgoing personality and strong communication, networking and influencing skills as you will have many stakeholders, internally and externally.
