The joint venture Danish Underground Consortium (DUC), which comprises Maersk Oil as operator and Shell, Chevron and the Nordsofonden (Danish North Sea Fund) as partners. The Integrated Workover Team is responsible for restoring/safeguarding production and reducing integrity severity codes through workovers in the Danish Business Unit (DBU) of Maersk Oil. The Integrated Workover Team is a key contributor to the performance of the Maersk Oil DUC. In addition to an existing strong asset base, this business has significant growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities The role encompasses following broad areas of responsibility: •Work as part of Wells Department and in multidisciplinary project teams including facilities, subsurface, production technology, completions engineering, drilling operations, suppliers, management and partners. •Play an integral role in evaluating development strategies for restoring well integrity and safeguarding DBU’s production through workovers; •Review well history data to build the Well Data Sheets as a foundation for the workovers. Explore different design options for the workovers and narrow down these options to prepare the workover basis of design; •Mature the initiated workover candidates through the Initiate/Assess and Select phase of the Integrated Workover Delivery Process (IWDP); •Developing new techniques to optimise workover activities, increase production and/or increase well life. •Promotion of Constant Care regarding safety and integrity in well engineering design and operations. •Participation in knowledge sharing with wider Maersk Oil community and industry. •Participation in peer reviews of wells activities in other Maersk Oil business units and on partner operated ventures. •Provide technical support to ongoing well planning and operations activities. Who we are looking for The successful candidate will have significant demonstrable experience in a drilling engineering role including offshore rig site experience, maybe from a supervisory role and proficiency in completions engineering principles and software applications. *LI-HJ1 We are looking for a candidate with a degree in mechanical or petroleum engineering or similar relevant education. Furthermore you need to be experienced in workover operations and completion design and the ability to interpret logging information. As a person you have good team building skills, excellent communication & team working skills and well developed analytical abilities. You possess good interpersonal and motivational skills with a strong interest in business improvement. You have an enthusiastic and success driven attitude with the ability to work to deadlines.
