We are looking for an analytical and curious new team member with an interest in the transformative journey that credit risk management is going through - towards more portfolio management and automation, more analytics and data science. Your future responsibilities 

You’ll join Credit Risk Portfolio Management, Group Credit Risk Management, where we sit close to the Bank's decision makers and work in an environment of frequent iterations with colleagues and senior stakeholders to develop conclusions and recommendations across core credit risk management areas - risk measurement and key performance indicators, risk appetite frameworks, portfolio reviews and strategy development, credit loss management.  

What you’ll be doing:  

As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be a core team member with responsibilities to drive the development agenda for data management and credit risk analysis requirements. Specifically, responsibilities will include: 

• Capture and scope data requirements in collaboration with other functions in the bank
• Drive the development of the unit’s data management strategy and solution selection, including the associated change agenda and requirements  
• Development of the unit’s data strategy, including setting requirements for the bank’s development of strategic data capabilities towards credit risk management 
• Synchronise ways of working and data use with other stakeholders

The role is based in the Nordics. Your profile and background:  

We want to create a diverse team with a mix of qualifications. Hence, there can be many relevant backgrounds for this type of position. • You have an academic degree or equivalent in Data Sciences, Engineering, Finance, or similar 
• You are highly-motivated with a strong ambition to drive change and development in a business-oriented and result-driven environment 
• You are anchored in curiosity and analytics, and we expect you to bring high-integrity and a fact-based approach as you will be working in a hands-on strategic banking role 
• You have professional skills and experience in development of data management capabilities including needs identification, requirements development and execution support alongside colleagues from IT and other Business functions, with for example 2-5 years’ experience in working with similar challenges 
• You have experience in coding/ programming (e.g. Python, SAS, SQL) 
• You have a structured and customer-oriented approach as we work with many diverse stakeholders where strong project management is an asset 
• It is beneficial to have strong presentation and communication skills as well as ability to transpose analytical deliverables into presentation material 
• Experience in working with BI tools and data blending is preferred (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlick, Alteryx) 
• Preferably, you master one of the Nordic languages
