This will require some travel to overseas business units and commercial counterparts. You will be an integrated member of a small, dedicated team which is responsible for crude oil marketing and trading activities within Maersk Oil. This provides a unique opportunity to shape future asset backed trading activities within the company end ensure we maximize the value of our crude oil assets. Key Responsibilities Your new role will see you charged with: • Driving derivatives trading around our crude oil assets and its continuous development • Being an integrated part of the physical crude oil trader group • Forming a market view and making trading decisions based on available market data • Maximising value from our assets and trading opportunities and ensuring we continue to be a preferred supplier and partner in the market • Achieving success within our accepted risk profile and mandates Who we are looking for You are an accomplished Crude Oil trader with: • Strong derivatives and exposure understanding and experience • A proven track record of high performance in working with refinery customers, partners and governments (preferred but not essential) • An ability to perform in an occasionally hectic environment, strong analytical skills and a team-playing mentality with a very competitive and structured mind set Last application date: 05 July 2015.
