We are looking for an innovative Senior Data Scientist with interest and experience in pioneering Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and advanced data analysis.
About the department
A new area is being established to drive digital quality transformation in Novo Nordisk Quality. This includes exploring digital solutions by identifying, developing and driving new digital initiatives within quality owned processes and the Quality organisation for the benefit of the entire business.
The position
As Senior Data Scientist you drive pro-active exploration of our quality data and new digital technologies to continuously bring Novo Nordisk’s quality processes to the forefront of digitalisation in the pharma industry.
You drive the development of Artificial Intelligence solutions, such as Machine Learning, that maximize utilization of data and continuously optimize conditions for quality performance.
You are considered a pioneer and a preferred consultant within your field. The solutions you develop enables end-users to make optimal decisions enlightened by reliable data analytics and drive innovation at the interface of man and machine.
You are a part of a team that is passionate about working with data and exploring opportunities of solving complicated business challenges. Your vital contribution is to stay at the cutting edge of intelligent automation technologies and applications.
Qualifications
Preferably you also hold a PhD degree or equivalent in a field relevant for the position. As a minimum you have a Master’s degree in within Digitalisation Technologies or Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent.
In addition you have at least 5 years of experience with programming, data management and applying analytical skills to complex and comprehensive data. You have minimum 3 years of experience from a similar position, including practical experience with programming and Machine Learning.
You are an expert in Python or R and have a broad understanding of different programming languages, tools and methods. It is an advantage if you have experience with Business Intelligence tools e.g. Tableau, Alteryx or Qlik Sense and SQL.
We emphasise accountability and reaching goals through a collaborative effort, thus it is essential that you are able to use your good interpersonal and communication skills to achieve results together with others.
Fluency in spoken and written English is expected.
