Lokation DK - Smørum We are looking for a Senior Developer, who – among other things - can help us build an Enterprise Product Definition System (EPDS). We are a part of the global William Demant group, which manufactures and sells hearing instruments and other hearing related devices, thereby improving the lives for millions of hearing impaired people around the globe. The project The first project you will be assigned to is our EPDS project. The purpose of the EPDS project is to establish a system in which all our product variants (hearing instruments etc.) are defined. From the system, the information about the variants will be flowing to other applications within the company. EPDS consists of the tool Configit Model (from the company Configit), in which the variants are modelled via a set of rules. The integration to other systems are and will be built using C#.NET. The EDPS project is well established and has already been running for a couple of years. The project team consists of 8-10 persons, and your task will be to develop the necessary C#.NET code together with fellow developers. You need to be an all-round .Net developer so that you can take on assignments in both UI / MVC development / REST, programming of backend logic and database development. You will take part in the daily execution of tasks from the backlog, and it is vital that you also are willing to carry out maintenance tasks - along with implementation of new feature requests. We are following a SCRUM based approach, and so we also expect you to take active part in analyzing requirements, deciding architecture, testing etc. The organization You will organizationally be placed in DGS, which is the unit in the William Demant group that provides IT and other services to the rest of the group. Your working place will be at our headquarters in Smørum, Denmark. Your technical profile You have a master's degree or similar in an IT related field, and at least 5 years of experience with enterprise software development, preferably in an agile, international context. You are “fluent” in C#.NET, and you consider Visual Studio to be the best tool. You are probably also familiar with some of the following areas: ASP.NET, MVC, Razor, Web API, Jquery, Javasript, XML, JSON, AngularJS, Lambda, Linq expressions, Reflection, Entity Framework 6.1, Microsoft Unity, Unit testing, SQL Server, Team Foundation Server.
