Are you an experienced leader, and would you like to work with a broad network, focusing on design? This is an opportunity to work at the epicenter of the LEGO Innovation muscle, bridging the LEGO design process from ideation to production. Bridge design with the product development process As Senior Director, you will lead Design Management and Functions (DMF), an organisation of creative design line functions. The department covers Design Management, Graphic Design, Building Instructions and Front End Packaging design. Working in a matrix structure, you will have a critical role in serving as a partner to multiple departments where you balance the needs, opportunities and constraints across the design process. In doing so, you ensure that DMF teams are visible and act as a value adding business partner both to the LEGO designers and the broad value chain, and in particular, you: Build and consolidate a strong DMF organisation with a clear identity, bridge it into the full value chain environment and find common ground Are a business partner in supporting and challenging the Design Leadership Team and the Design Functions, Technology and Operations Leadership Team Lead the DMF organisation by developing leaders and specialists as well as setting the strategic long term direction Secure cohesion, efficiency and effectiveness across the full LEGO Value chain Inspire your people to invent, create and transform You will join a company that is passionate about the impact of play. Lead by motivation and build bridges Your biggest challenge will be to constantly balance different interests, using your tact and diplomacy to integrate the creative processes and perspectives with the rest of the value chain without compromising the needs of the business.
