Our ambition is zero safety incidents and relentlessly continuing our efforts to deliver the safest and most efficient drilling services to our customers. We Offer As head of HSSE you will manage 7 functional areas. In Maersk Drilling, safety is the highest priority. All employees are responsible for stopping any unsafe work, reporting any perceived safety hazards, and help making our units an even safer place to work. The HSSE department is part of the Operations department. The Operations departing is responsible for operational and financial performance, operational readiness and acceptance of new drilling units going into operation. Furthermore, Operations provide operational support to departments within the Headquarters, locations and drilling units world wide. In the HSSE department we are safeguarding our prime goal - zero incidents! In this position, you will be a member of the Operations Management Team and report directly to our COO. Key Responsibilities You will focus explicitly on our global operations and you are overall responsible for the execution of global policies, strategies and systems for corporate HSSE, both for Maersk Drilling and Maersk FPSOs. You ensure that we are in compliance with current regulations at all times, and that we act as stipulated by the authorities. You play a vital role in the optimisation and streamlining of our processes, so we work as wisely, securely and cost consciously as possible with due consideration to rules and regulations. In addition, you are responsible for developing, maintaining and implementing global tools and programmes concerning specific HSSE issues. In cooperation with the HSSE Leadership team, you are expected to ensure the company is kept at the forefront of development and to constantly seek out new ways and methods to reach our goal of zero incidents. You will ensure that our Asset Teams are kept updated and informed of their performance and to provide advice to both HQ functions and rig teams globally. Who we are looking for You are a leader with substantial experience working with top management and a proven track record in strategic leadership. You hold a Master's degree in Engineering or a similar education. Moreover, you are keen on systems, policies and strategies and have a high level understanding of processes. You are a naturally driven self-starter. As a leader you are able to see the big picture, you are emphatic and able to coach. You will lead an ambitious team through clear goals and targets and who thrives by been given trust and authority. You welcome a global work life and will thrive in an international environment.
