We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to take on the role as Team Lead for the grid & systems studies team within our Business Area Wind, Engineering and Construction, Electrical. Your main responsibilities will be to bring expertise into the business in terms of grid & system studies ,grid code compliance, international best practice, onshore and offshore HVDC and AC transmission systems, offshore wind turbines design (electrical and control), electrical consenting issues for wind power plants. You will be a part of the Electrical department with colleagues located in various locations across Europe with this position being based in Kolding, Denmark The department is the technical know-how centre within Business Area Wind, setting the standards and guidelines, as well as being embedded in our projects, both through the development and implementation phase as well as the operation & maintenance phase lead by our generation department. Description of the position as Senior Electrical Engineer-Team Lead • Team Lead for a team of engineers within grid interface and electrical system studies • Technical leadership and guidance of technical direction for power system simulation for wind power plant development. • Supporting the organisation with technical expertise • Process owner for electrical analysis throughout the project lifecycle, from development, design and construction through operation and maintenance as well as fleet improvement initiatives. • Review and evaluate technical reports on power system studies for both internal and external use • Prioritise and organise team work flow by interaction with internal stakeholders. • Travelling for team meetings, site visits, contractors and authorities should be expected. Qualifications as Senior Electrical Engineer – Team Lead • M.Sc in Electrical engineering • Experience within power system simulation & wind farm modelling • Experience with team leadership with minimum 5-10 persons. • Knowledgeable about different grid code requirements for wind power plants. • Practical and theoretical experience • Min 5 years of experience • Fluent in both Danish and English language skills. Personal skills You have a high degree of self motivation with a flexible approach to work. You possess good interpersonal skills works well with other people, and you have an innovative mindset. You are result-oriented and you organize and prioritize your work effectively meeting required deadlines. You have the courage to act on your conviction, and you display discretion under time pressure. Location Kolding, Denmark.
