Senior Engineer to ensure quality in Digitalisation Development

Do you have a solid software background and can you ensure the quality of our digitalisation development and implement quality tools when needed? 

We are on an exciting transformation journey towards extended connectivity. As our new Senior Engineer, you will get a unique chance to step into a highly independent role where you impact the digital future of Grundfos by contributing to the development of new apps and other digital offerings from a quality perspective. 

Join Group Quality
You will join a global team working to enhance product quality in Grundfos’ Business Development by ensuring that we deliver reliable products and systems of the highest quality. As such, we support product development, software solutions, IoT, engineering, platforms etc. guaranteeing that our products and systems fulfil our quality benchmark. 

"Your focus will be the software solutions building on top of our core products, developing our new core. You will be part of a team of nearly 20 development quality engineers. Most of us are based in Denmark, but we also have colleagues in China, Hungary, Germany and USA respectively. However, we are always ready to help each other, talking things over and providing professional feedback. Stepping in to this newly established position, you will be bringing a new dimension into our extensive skill set" says Senior Manager, Carsten Høybye Pedersen. 

Ensure quality in digital products and offerings
You will be working within our development teams as a part of our new Digitalisation area. Hence, you will interact with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the organisation, giving you a large network across functions and levels. Working closely with the development teams, it is your responsibility to ensure a smooth workflow to obtain good quality and robustness in the new digital offerings through relevant quality tool and methods.

More specifically, you will be assisting with: 

• Develop and implement quality methods and workflows suited for system software
• Ensuring adequate quality assurance in an agile project environment
• Evaluating early feedback from market and ensure continuous improvement
• Maintaining focus on the product quality status throughout the whole development cycle
• Communicating the risks to the relevant stakeholders in the organisation 

You will have around 10-20 days of international travel in connection with projects and department activities. 

Experience with software development and quality methods
To succeed in this position, it is essential that you: 

• Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree within software development
• Have solid experience working in an agile project setup, enabling you to understand the projects and to provide feedback.
• Have experience using quality methods like risk minimising tools (FMEA, DFA/DFM, DoE etc.)
• Have practical experience in quality assurance within digitalisation and system development
• Speak and write English fluently 

Furthermore, it is desirable that you know about: 

• SAFe or similar models
• Software development in a DevOps set-up
• Systems Engineering, IoT concepts, Data Analytics and data quality
• And have experience working in a complex matrix organisation

Furthermore, you can communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation as well as establish and use your network.
