As Senior Account Executive you are focused on articulating the value of Microsoft as an enterprise solution provider and demonstrating Microsoft’s commitment to helping customers with the Digital Transformation that is opening up new opportunities within the logistics industry today. For the Enterprise Commercial team at Microsoft this translates into helping some of Denmark’s largest logistics organizations transform the way they engage their customers, empower their employees, optimize their operations and transform their products.

The team you will join is a part of Enterprise Commercial team that manages some of the largest accounts through a direct engagement and by managing and coordinating virtual teams, across Microsoft and our partner community with the goal of driving excitement, revenue growth, market share, and Customer and Partner Experience of Microsoft products and solutions.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Account Executive you will be responsible for communicating the value of Microsoft’s products to a set of Logistics customers. You will own the commercial and business responsibilities for the accounts and you will be responsible for developing and executing account plans for opportunities that will show the products/technologies we will sell, developed based on an in-depth knowledge of the customer, their industry and partner capabilities within that industry.

You will have the ability to quickly build strong relationships, identify opportunities and orchestrate the internal stakeholders and our partners to ensure opportunities are converted into revenue. You will be accountable for helping the customer to deploy the technology they invest in and ensure that they see the business value from their investment. You will also be responsible for helping to define the long term strategic approach to joint success with your accounts.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate that comes from the logistics industry or have extensive experience with the industry from consulting or enterprise level sales engagements.  The successful candidate will demonstrate very concise and effective communication skills with customers and employees and must have strong listening skills resulting in customer satisfaction. A candidate that knowns have to deliver highly articulate and effective strategic presentations to audiences of all sizes - including the largest and competitively challenging.

Furthermore, the right candidate for this position comes with:

• Excellent & effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Danish (spoken/written).
• At least Bachelor’s Degree is required
• Organized and analytical.
• You have a great initiative and ability to work independently, with the ability to manage time and tasks.
• You have the credible combined with a high degree of business awareness/industry knowledge and the ability to motivate others and to work as part of a team and to contribute to team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft product line and business model.
• A team player with an open and positive attitude eager to work in a sales organization with big challenges and high level of energy.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships on executive and manager level.
• Negotiation and presentation experience in a partner environment.
• Ability to effectively engage business decision makers and articulate business value.
