CFO/Global Finance/ Group Financial Planning & Performance/TSS & JV Finance You will join Technology & Service Solutions (TSS) & Joint Venture (JV) Finance, which is part of Vestas’ Global Finance organization. We are responsible for business partnering to the CTO ensuring objective and transparent decision making by delivering excellent performance reporting and analysis to relevant stakeholders. We drive performance culture by ensuring ambitious and realistic target setting and keeping stakeholders accountable for target gaps and ensuring root cause counter measures are implemented. Alongside business partnering towards 3 large R&D segments, where you are expected to secure performance together with segment management, you will drive team efforts in relation to Vestas turbine profitability and are expected to take a leading role in elevating the performance management culture across R&D. To stay competitive it is imperative that Vestas is dedicated to financial performance, hence TSS & JV Finance ensures to transform performance management knowledge into tangible P&L and balance sheet impact, enabling financial and strategic decision making. Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will be: Business partnering You will be working closely with R&D segment Senor Vice President's, and ensuring the values of TSS & JV Finance is transformed into results Advise and guide stakeholders with business intelligence, KPI and target setting Drive performance culture by challenging key stakeholders, and ensuring accurate data, forecasting and target setting within segments of responsibility. Take a leading role in elevating performance culture across R&D as a whole by highlighting imbalances in scorecards and by developing key metrics and to expose true over/under achievements Actively participate and lead in setting the right priority and ambition for R&D Drive cross-functional business performance improvement projects ensuring efficient and accurate reporting Financial analysis, hereunder, variance reports, root cause counter measures, opportunity analysis, business cases and compliance. Monitor cost versus forecasts and budgets Secure alignment between budget and resource allocation Provide in debt analysis of product family and market profitability Ensuring in debt management reporting challenging future product profitability bridging actuals to ambitions highlighting gaps and exposing opportunities. General: Support the continued effort to offshore relevant controlling activities, underpinning the transition to high end controlling and value adding activities in TSS & JV Finance team. Perform ad hoc analyses based on requests from R&D or other relevant stakeholders Be a valued and active part in the progressive development of the TSS & JV Finance department Qualifications A relevant Master's / Bachelor's degree most likely within Finance +5 years working experience within finance in a challenging stakeholder environment. Business Controlling experience within complex environment Strong analytical & communication skills and fluency in English is a requirement Knowledge and hands on experience with projects controlling/project business Good understanding of value chain and business models Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders across multiple departments SAP and SAP BW experience is preferred.
