Group Accounting and Financial Compliance is responsible for maintaining and developing the Danfoss Group’s accounting principles based on IFRS as well as being responsible for compliance areas like Delegation of Power, audit contact towards our group auditors and participation and facilitation of annual general meetings for the group’s subsidiaries. Furthermore, we participate in a variety of corporate projects related to development and optimisation of internal and external financial reporting. Developing accounting principles and securing financial compliance As a Corporate Controller working at our corporate head office, you will enter into a versatile job function. Thus, it will be your mission to maintain and develop the Danfoss Group’s accounting principles (IFRS), but also participate in corporate projects on development of internal and external financial reporting. Specifically, your responsibilities will be to participate in: •Maintaining and developing the group’s accounting principles according to IFRS •Preparing and reviewing financial materials for internal Annual General Meetings for subsidiaries in the Danfoss group as well as participating in other financial compliance tasks •Financial controlling of business units in connection with the monthly and quarterly reporting as well as participation in the Annual report process for the Danfoss Group •Preparation of annual reports for the majority of the Danfoss group’s Danish subsidiaries •Projects and analysis in relation to development of the internal and external financial reporting for the Danfoss group Independent, thorough and solid experience from accounting/auditing You have an educational background as HD (R), cand.merc.aud. or similar, paired with exhaustive experience within accounting and/or auditing. You have a sound understanding of IFRS and know how to apply and adapt general accounting principles across an organisation with a contemporary and pragmatic approach. Furthermore, you are familiar with project management and are able to design, develop and initiate a project. You have sound interpersonal skills and are comfortable communicating appropriately at all levels of the organisation, and you are able to work independently. You can communicate effortlessly in written and spoken English.
