Senior Financial Risk Manager for Corporate Treasury

- Finance & Auditing - Denmark - Bagsværd We are looking for a strong profile to our Financial Risk Management department in Corporate Treasury. Corporate Treasury is a part of Novo Nordisk Corporate Finance and is responsible for handling Novo Nordisk's financial risk on a group level. About the department Corporate Treasury is divided in two departments. The Financial Risk Management department, consisting of 8 employees, is responsible for managing foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, financial counterparty risk, credit rating and capital structure on a group level. The Cash Management department, consisting of 7 employees, is responsible for global cash management and for capital structure and financial advisory of Novo Nordisk's affiliates worldwide. The position As Senior Financial Risk Manager in the Financial Risk Management department you will manage Novo Nordisk’s exchange rate and interest rate exposure, handle daily liquidity management and conduct financial analysis to senior management. You will follow developments in financial markets, be in frequent contact with our international banks and trade on behalf of Novo Nordisk. Due to the importance of the financial risk management activities you will interact frequently with senior management. Qualifications To enter this position you need solid analytical skills and a strong academic background, e.g. an MSc in Economics or Finance with good results. You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience from a corporation, an organisation or the financial sector including some experience with financial markets. You are a strong communicator, who is able to make complexities easy to understand and you excel in written and spoken English. You are ambitious and a team player with strong collaboration skills. Finally, you are a strong user of technology e.g. Excel and Visual Basic for Applications. All enquiries will be handled confidentially.
