Do you want to take part in the development of state of the art hearing aids and accessories? Oticon is a large, fast growing company in the medical-technical industry where our +450 engineers are all committed to deliver well-made, high tech solutions for hearing impaired people worldwide. Electronics integration and development You will become part of Oticon’s R&D Hearing Instrument Amplifiers and Connectivity devices (HIAC) group consisting of more than 40 highly dedicated and experienced engineers. The group is responsible for developing the electronics part of Oticon hearing aids and accessories (connectivity devices), using generic platform components and solutions. Hearing aids are complex products with a very high level of integration. In order to achieve optimal performance with minimum size, we develop our own chipsets – HIAC is responsible for the product integration. When squeezed into very small products, signal integrity, co-existence and ESD robustness will be among the main challenges. Senior Developer with Coordination skills Your area of responsibility will cover all steps from initial specification to handover for mass-production. You have +5 years of experience from integrating electronics into commercial products – probably holding a B.Sc or M.Sc in Electronics Engineering. You main tasks include: Integration of analogue and digital electronics into PCB, including: Design of baseband and RF circuits Layout for EMC robustness and design for reliability Verification of electrical, wireless and EMC performance Coordination of development activities within the group and reporting to the project manager Documentation of own work by means of e.g. design specifications, test specifications, measurement reports Preferably, you have a strong experience from working in international projects and in customer driven product development. You are an expert in designing electronics including circuit simulations. You are capable of driving electronics design and integration of components into complete PCB solutions, and you are used to solving issues in lab.
