Help us to ensure compliance and do business in a responsible manner

As Senior Healthcare Compliance Specialist you are a highly valued partner to the business supporting the global LEO Pharma organisation in our interactions with HCPs/HCOs. Your knowledge of and advice on the internal policies and applicable laws, regulations and ethical standards for communicating with HCPs/HCOs e.g. engagements, materials, off-label communication is a cornerstone in securing that the business is compliant in interactions with HCPs and HCOs.

A vital part of your job will be to advice a wide number of colleagues at all levels across the global LEO Pharma organisation. It is in this context that you have an opportunity to make a significant impact and at the same time expand your business acumen with a global perspective.

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Lead of the interpretation and implementation of applicable laws, regulations and ethical standards regulating the interactions with HCPs/HCOs with key focus on the Danish rules, EFPIA and IFPMA
• As an expert in HCP/HCO requirements, you will provide compliance assessments of engagements with HCPs/HCOs and guide business in their interaction with HCPs/HCOs as well as prepare the related contracts with HCPs/HCOs
• Lead the global marketing compliance processes incl. writing of procedures 
• Lead the developing of training materials/events related to the compliance areas covered by Global Healthcare Compliance- Perform monitoring and oversight of the HCP/HCO engagements documented in the global LEO HCP/HCO engagement tool
• Provide training and support to stakeholders globally in the global HCP compliance process 
• Act as mentor for team members in relation to healthcare compliance requirements

The position includes approx. 15 travel days per year.

About you

You have a university degree with solid experience from working in the pharmaceutical industry within the field of healthcare engagement compliance or marketing compliance. This has provided you with a good business understanding, excellent stakeholder management as well as in depth knowledge of the industry compliance requirements and/or the ability to read and understand terms written in legal language e.g. contracts, laws, codes and guidelines.

You drive results, and you can work independently and as part of a team. To succeed, you must be able to transform rules to practice without compromising the compliance requirements. This takes a pragmatic attitude and solid communication skills, in both spoken and written English. As you will be working in a fast paced and ever-changing environment with stakeholders from all areas of the business, you will need your prioritising skills and your ability to multitask and at the same time keep your high level of quality and sense of details. On the personal level, you enjoy delivering good service, and you see your colleagues as valued customers. Since training is an important part of the job you must thrive in the role as coach.

You will become part of Global Compliance & Risk - which covers Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption, Healthcare Compliance, Compliance Investigations, Risk Management, Crisis Management, Third Party Compliance, etc.

The Global Healthcare Compliance team is expanding, where you will join a very well-functioning team with 10 highly dedicated and skilled colleagues. We are based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen.
