CMC Biologics A/S (CMC) is looking for a Senior Help Desk Analyst to join our IT department at the Copenhagen office. CMC is a Contract Manufacturing Organization with customers all over the world. As a member of the IT Help Desk team you will provide computer support for the corporate user base in all of their day to day computing needs and you will report to the IT Director in Seattle. Responsibilities The tasks and assignments of the Senior Help Desk Analyst will consist of the following: • Resolving daily IT problems of employee’s incl. daily communication with employees via phone, e-mail and in person. • Trouble shooting and repairing hardware and software problems related to: Desktops, laptops, mobile phones, network equipment, printers, handheld devices, cabling, projectors and scanners. At times, this can also include certain lab equipment and network switches. The repair process can include opening up equipment to replace/upgrade/repair parts, working with vendors for problem resolution, and making recommendations on when/how to replace equipment. • Installation and testing of new software applications. • Create end user training and perform the subsequent documentation. • Setting up new hardware and software incl. opening new hardware and setting up for end users. • Providing subject matter expertise to assist internal customers with purchasing decisions. • Maintaining the asset management database for I.S. • Working with the systems group to develop automatic deployment of software packages. • Basic Active Directory account management. • Building and deploying security, application, and OS patches. • Working closely with other team members and other supporting teams in resolving employee queries. Requirements The perfect candidate will possess the below competences: • Fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills; technical problem solving skills and the ability to multitask. • Self-motivated and able to work independently. • At least 5 years of experience as an end user support specialist, computer technician/analyst or Support Center technician/analyst. • Strong customer focus. • Strong sense of personal responsibility for your work. • The ability to quickly understand and resolve customer problems using proper customer service techniques with a positive attitude. • Bachelor degree within computer science or equivalent experience/education. • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and a keen understanding of business processes. • Flexibility in work hours to support a global user base.
