We Offer As Senior HQ Controller for Maersk Drilling you will work closely with the accounting team, focal points and department heads in HQ and some of the shorebases. Based in our office in Lyngby, Denmark, you will be part of our international Finance department. Here your role will be to ensure admin and overhead costs are reported correctly both in terms of quality, processes, and deadlines. As part of the forecasting process you need to build detailed knowledge of drivers, assumptions and kpi’s for the various cost categories and have focus on the headcount development and the derived impact on salary expenditures for all departments. The position offers exciting opportunities to develop your reporting, control and presentation skills in a truly international environment. A new ERP system has just been implemented and you will play a significant role in driving maximum utilisation of the capabilities of the new system, to enhance our spend visibility analyses for individual departments. This with timely follow up and with comments to any significant deviations to target and forecasted admin and overhead costs. Key Responsibilities The position reports to the Head of Accounting and Shorebases. As Senior HQ Controller we see you as a driving force in supporting the department heads with admin and overhead reporting. Key to the position is to have flair for controlling and to be able to use analytical skills combined with delivering high quality finance presentations within tight time schedules. You will work together with the focal points on the quarterly rolling forecast and give input on salaries based on future headcounts assumptions and ultimately be responsible for the quality of the consolidated Rolling Forecast for HQ admin and overhead costs. Who we are looking for: You hold a diploma, bachelors or master’s degree within finance, auditing or equivalent and have at least five years of experience working within finance. You are a skilled user of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint or the equivalent. As you will be part of a global organisation it is a prerequisite that you are fluent in English. You have personal drive and work well under pressure and with tight deadlines. You possess uncompromising integrity, have the ability to adapt to a changing environment, and in doing so can be creative. Naturally, being a skilled financial controller, you possess excellent analytical and reporting skills, but you are also capable of combining an eye for detail with a holistic overview.
