Position Summary: 

This position reports into the VP of HR and is an HR Generalist role responsible for actively providing advanced level support and internal consulting to geographic and functional management client groups and employees within the UK, theNetherlands, Belgium, and France.

They will work and collaborate closely with the VP of HR, HRBP*s and the HR Centers of Excellence to secure alignment in strategies and processes while developing the HR discipline in Sitecore across functions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assume subject matter expert role on specific HR tasks for the countries in scope
• Aligns develops and implements HR strategies, policies, and practices that affect all aspects of HR and employment management
• Provide advice and counsel to management on all human capital issues to ensure fair and consistent treatment
• Manage the involuntary termination process

 

General:

• Executes on the strategic direction of HR, including implementation of high-value-added HR processes that support business goals and objectives
• On and offboarding
• Employee engagement
• Implement key performance management initiatives including goal setting, mid-year and annual-review process, promotions, and talent review/succession planning program (MBO)
• Support Talent Acquisition in the recruitment process as required; particularly in areas such as diversity and inclusion
• Work with Talent Acquisition in ensuring all contracts, offer letters and any additional documentation are accurate and consistent
• Develop and manage internal communication mechanisms in close collaboration with the Communication Team
• Provide day to day advice to management on all HR issues
• Maintain and develop effective working relationships across the organization
• Participate in and contribute to, as appropriate, business planning processes and the production of related documentation
• Provide management with various types of employee reports including attrition, absence, compensation, annual leave and headcount
• Participate in or leads complex HR projects
• Develop HR presentations as needed
• Recommend and implement improved processes and procedures for HR programs
• Assist in the development of HR policies in order to satisfy legal requirements, cost containments, and work environments consistent with Sitecore’s core values
• Promote and manage the local implementation of regional driven HR programs and initiatives
• Facilitate resolution of Employee Relations issues as they arise and ensure proper and complete documentation
• Partner with HRBP regarding performance management, training and development, organizational development, compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition, diversity, employee relations, leadership development, and succession planning to deliver quality service
• Resolve complex employee relations issues and ensure proper and complete documentation:
  • Employee Complaints
  • Conflict Resolution / Mediation
  • Investigations

• Promote Sitecore Code of Conduct in all efforts. Investigate complaints, violations and conflicts
• Collaborate as necessary with management to resolve appropriately
• Ensure compliance with all employment regulations and guidelines

 

Benefits:

• Acts as the owner and driver of local benefits programs and priorities
• Works with local employee benefits brokers to ensure programs are operating effectively, addressing employee issues as they arise, and managing annual renewals as and when applicable
• Identify strengths and weakness of current programs, escalate for review complex matters relating to local programs, and support the roll-out of new programs
• Builds benefits induction, communication and support into the full spectrum of the local employee experience, from recruitment through retirement
• Liaises externally and internally  to ensure, e.g., new hires are onboarded in a timely fashion, key administrative details are updated as needed, and benefit programs efficiently operate
• Other local benefit-related tasks as assigned

HR Operations:

• Maintains direct client relationship with managers assisting with organizational design/alignment activities and working with HR Operations for system updates
• Participate in process improvement requirements for HR tools and represent the employees/managers view to drive effective adoption
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Talent Acquisition, Finance, HR, Compensation) and managers on workforce planning and employee lifecycle events
• Experience using HR data insights and analytics to inform and influence business decisions

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree/MBA or global equivalent in Human Resources or related business field preferred
• 4 – 6 years of related generalist Human Resources experience in a fast-paced technology environment

• Intermediate to advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint capability
• HRIS experience required, Workday helpful
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in an environment which requires flexibility, innovation, superb customer service skills, and organization
• Experience delivering effective presentations and training material to a variety of audiences
• Demonstrable understanding of employment regulations, CIPD preferred
• Excellent coaching, influencing, facilitating, process development, analysis and problem-solving skills required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Business travel of approximately 10% annually is expected for this position.
