Do you want to offer advice to our executive management and serve as an IFRS sparring partner on our investment recommendations?

 

Join us and become Senior IFRS Specialist in Accounting Excellence, our IFRS competence centre, where you along with seven colleagues will be responsible for defining our group accounting policies in accordance with IFRS, offering advice on IFRS to the financial controllers of our business units and preparing the group’s annual report and interim financial reports.

 

The department is part of our Shared Functions, more specifically our Reporting & Accounting Excellence function. We’re part of the Integrated Finance organisation where we collaborate with dedicated Business Finance functions on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works in a targeted and responsible manner.

 

The group has an ambitious growth strategy, and there is an increasing demand for expertise within IFRS and for competences within the financial area.

 

Your key tasks will be to

• offer IFRS advice to the executive management
• serve as an IFRS sparring partner on our investment recommendations
• support the financial controllers of our business units
• participate in the preparation of the group’s interim financial reports and annual report
• participate in the financial controlling of the group’s financial area.

 

Your competences include that you

• have a master’s degree in accounting and auditing or similar, e.g. the Danish degree cand.merc.aud. (MSC in business economics and auditing), or are a state-authorised public accountant
• have experience working as an accountant or financial controller in an international group
• have theoretical and practical experience with IFRS and, perhaps, have worked in a specialist department
• are used to communicating in writing and preparing memos and presentations in English
• are able to translate IFRS technical issues into understandable conclusions.

 

In addition, you’re a strong analyst, have a logical approach to problems, are results-oriented and are happy to assume responsibility for your tasks. You’re good at establishing relations and at cross-organisational communication.
