LEO Pharma is looking for an experienced intranet manager to develop and drive our internal digital communication channels with focus on our global intranet, yammer and teamsites. You will take on a senior role in our Global internal Communication team, developing and driving our digital channels to support our 2025 strategy.

LEO Pharma has embarked on a growth journey to become the preferred dermatology care partner in the world, dedicated to helping people achieve healthy skin. We have recently introduced our 2025 strategy, which aims to accelerate our efforts in innovative therapeutics while strengthening our established portfolio and our global footprint in medical dermatology.

Dermatology is an area of rapid growth and LEO Pharma is rapidly changing from one that is focused on topical treatments, to being at the forefront of scientific advancements to help patients. To achieve our ambitious goals, we want to bring all LEO people along the journey and the changes this requires from everyone to focus on the right things, collaborate, and work efficiently while preserving the unique parts of our company culture.

Objectives

As our Internal Channel Manager, you will have the lead in maintain and develop our global internal digital communication channels to ensure strong and efficient communication globally. We want our internal channels to support the transformation of LEO Pharma with communication across our global organisation with a specific focus on engaging LEO people worldwide in our 2025 strategy.

This includes well-functioning and relevant channels, such as a MS SharePoint and cloud based global intranet, Yammer channels and teamsites to ensure we have the right channels to communicate, collaborate and get in dialogue with our more than 5500 colleagues around the world, no matter if they work at a desk, are sales persons on the road or work in the production. Furthermore, you will be responsible for our info-screens solution where we soon will launch a global version.

You will take lead on this and develop the channel strategy, train and educate editors and manage the global network of editors. You will provide “technical” guidance to your colleagues in the team, and you are the one who get things done, when we stream events such as a townhall meeting.

You know how to choose the right approach, to identify business’ needs and finally to document and evaluate initiatives to enforce continuously improvements in our deliverables. You know how to create a business case that support your digital initiatives and you know how to measure that you have succeeded. To succeed in this position, you will work with stakeholders on all levels in the business functions at a global, regional and affiliate level. Besides the Line of Business, Global IT, who provides and maintain the SharePoint platform, will be an important partner.

You will report to the Global Head of Internal Communication and be based at LEO Pharma’s headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, near Copenhagen. You need to expect approximately 10-15 travel days per year.

All in all your responsibilities will be to: 

• Run, maintain and develop global internal digital communication channels, eg. Intranet, teamsites, yammer and info-screens.
• Developing channel strategy, governance structure and guidelines.
• Developing business cases to show ROI on digital solutions.
• Training editors and to some extend provide support by developing training material and guidelines for online communication channels and content such as guidelines and how-to videos.
• Measure and document how digital communication activities support to the overall performance of LEO Pharma.
• Maintain and develop our global network of intranet editors.

Requirements

To take on this role successfully, we expect you to bring: 

• University degree and 5+ years of experience in web communication principles in larger organisations, preferable international organisations,
• A true online person. You are tech savvy with a strong offspring in communication and have thorough understanding of IT and the connection between communication and digital channels,
• Strong knowledge on Microsoft SharePoint cloud based solution and streaming solutions,
• Experience developing governance and guidance for global digital channels eg. Yammer, News feed, video portals etc.,
• Project management skills and preferable with experience with management of digital projects,
• Ability to provide strong digital communication counsel,
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities, and demonstrated capacity to work effectively with all levels,
• Outgoing and curious as a person, both to seek information and influence, but also internally in your team. Ability to network and work with internal stakeholders on all levels (global, regional, local),
• You are structured but thrives in a hectic and ambitious work environment. You put attention to the details without compromising speed,
• Fluent level of English, other languages are an asset.

We are helping LEO Pharma achieve its mission of helping people achieve healthy skin by shaping its profile and engaging external stakeholders as well as employees. 

Global Internal Communication is an dedicated team of communication advisors and communication enablers, driving change communication with regards to our 2025 strategy, leadership communication, supporting the business areas and maintaining our internal corporate communication channels. We have a specific focus on engaging LEO people worldwide in the 2025 strategy and the accompanying company transformation.
