LEO Pharma is looking for an experienced internal communication manager to drive strategic internal communication. You will take on a senior role in our Global Internal Communication team supporting our business units and driving the internal communication with regards to our 2025 strategy and the transformation of the organisation.

LEO Pharma has embarked on a growth journey to become the preferred dermatology care partner in the world, dedicated to helping people achieve healthy skin. We have recently introduced our 2025 strategy, which aims to accelerate our efforts in innovative therapeutics while strengthening our established portfolio and our global footprint in medical dermatology.

Dermatology is an area of rapid growth and LEO Pharma is rapidly changing from one that is focused on topical treatments, to being at the forefront of scientific advancements to help patients. To achieve our ambitious goals, we want to bring all LEO people along the journey and the changes this requires from everyone to focus on the right things, collaborate, and work efficiently while preserving the unique parts of our company culture.

Objectives

In this role, you will work closely with our business units supporting their management in the transformation of LEO Pharma. You will have a specific focus on engaging LEO people worldwide in our 2025 strategy and the accompanying company transformation. This includes communication initiatives to support management with internal communication, enable managers to improve communication, support for key projects, and finally to document and evaluate initiatives to enforce continuously improvements of our deliverables. To succeed with this, you will work with stakeholders on all levels in the business functions at a global, regional and affiliate level.

Besides working towards our business units, you will also take lead or join communication projects managed by Global Internal Communications. In general, we encourage you to join forces with your colleagues to provide strong and efficient communication solutions adding value to LEO Pharma.

You will report to the Global Head of Internal Communication and be based at LEO Pharma’s headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, near Copenhagen. You need to expect approximately 10-15 travel days per year.

All in all your responsibilities will be to: 

• Supports selected business units with strategic internal communication,
• Secure consistent and timely communication from management regarding our strategic ambition, initiatives and milestones,
• Enable managers to execute on the strategy locally, including training and development of tools and guidelines,
• Develop and produce relevant communication deliverables such as presentations, articles, guidelines, videos, posters etc.
• Contribute to manage daily tasks in Global Internal Communication.
• Measure and document how communication activities support to the overall performance of LEO Pharma.

Requirements

To take on this role successfully, we expect you to bring: 

• University degree and 8+ years of experience in international corporate communication,
• Experience from working at a senior level in a communication role, preferably as a Communications Partner/Consultant/Advisor and with organisations undertaking significant changes
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities. Excellent storyteller and writer and preferable also used to work with video format,
• Ability to network and work with internal stakeholders on all levels (global, regional, local) advising senior management, and working with internal stakeholders without direct reporting lines,
• Demonstrated success in creating, running and implementing global campaigns to enhance employee engagement and strategic changes, preferable have worked with the ADKAR model.
• You are structured but thrives in a hectic and ambitious work environment. You put attention to the details without compromising speed,
• Experienced user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel (together with ThinkCell) and SharePoint
• Fluent level of English, other languages are an asset

We are helping LEO Pharma achieve its mission of helping people achieve healthy skin by shaping its profile and engaging external stakeholders as well as employees.

Global Internal Communication is an dedicated team of communication advisors and communication enablers, driving change communication with regards to our 2025 strategy, leadership communication, supporting the business areas and maintaining our internal corporate communication channels. We have a specific focus on engaging LEO people worldwide in the 2025 strategy and the accompanying company transformation.
