Then we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join our IT Project Management team in Brande, Denmark at the earliest opportunity. The department is globally responsible for providing IT services and IT innovations for Siemens Wind Power specifically. In this position, you will join 9 experienced and dedicated colleagues executing strategically important IT projects for Siemens Wind Power. All having full responsibility for budget planning and controlling, resource planning and adherence to given project methodology (e.g. PM (at) Siemens) and KPIs. Your main focus will be IT implementation and IT improvement projects in relation to SAP ERP, Sharepoint and Business Intelligence. Some travlleing is to be expected in this position (approximately 20%) e.g. to meet with other team members located in Munich and to visit productions sites around the world regarding projects. What are my responsibilities? • Conducting strategic IT Projects for delivery of IT implementation and IT improvement projects by adhering to IT WP given project methodology and applying given KPIs • Functional responsibility of project resource including supporting of development- and competency management • Project-related contract management focusing on defining work packages, fixed price contracts and claim management handling • Identifying and implementing near shore and offshore sourcing strategies • Continuous improvement and standardization of given methodology in international IT projects (application and infrastructure solutions) • Identifying and engaging project-relevant stakeholders to ensure an aligned communication and decision making process • Ensuring full compliance of project-related value flows within the IT WP organization What do I need to qualify for this job? • You have a degree within computer science, business administration or similar • You have several years of work experience from various IT project-related roles (team lead, project manager, program manager) • You have experience with functional management of project resources (min. 8 people) • You have expert knowledge of project methodology, e.g. PM (at) Siemens, as well as a diversified and wide-spread knowledge of general IT services and solutions within Siemens • You have professional knowledge of business processes and knowledge of IT platforms based on SAP ERP, Sharepoint and various Business Intelligence solutions • You are customer-focused and have strong communication skills as well as the ability to communicate in layman’s terms with customers • You have experience from working in international environments and teams • You are fluent in English, both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
