About the department You will be part of an inspiring community of around 300 skilled and committed IT professionals who are responsible for all major IT projects and IT systems at Novo Nordisk. You will have ample opportunity for professional sparring and best practice exchanges in your daily work as well as through a global Project Management network. Your point of departure will be Bagsværd, Denmark, but our project portfolio has global reach, so you will be expected to travel. The job As Senior IT Project Manager at Novo Nordisk, your project assignments will be among the most strategically important IT projects in the company and will therefore have top-level priority and support from Novo Nordisk’s senior management. Your projects will have a high degree of complexity and will include stakeholder management at all organisational levels in Novo Nordisk. Consequently, this job offers you the opportunity to follow your projects through all phases, from the earliest idea development until the business benefits have been realised. You will have the full project responsibility for the team, budget, milestone and scope. Qualifications You have six to ten years of experience with IT project management from an international consultancy firm, a major IT vendor or a major international company. You also have a Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, computer science or economics. You have a profound comprehension of IT, preferably from hands-on experience as developer or IT-specialist e.g. within an application technology, IT security or IT infrastructure. You are motivated by planning and executing complex projects involving many stakeholders. You have excellent people management skills and you possess a good cross-cultural understanding. You are a strong communicator and are comfortable giving presentations to senior management. You are highly independent and have a high level of drive and persistence. You are focused on delivering projects of high quality on time. Furthermore, you are analytical, structured and robust under pressure. Fluency in written and spoken English is a must.
