Are you an experienced Senior IT Specialist, able to support the IT and Data Management systems related to hydrocarbon production? Can you facilitate and support the business in hydrocarbon accounting, throughout the entire value chain? Join us and become IT Specialist in Production Systems in Business Systems, which is part of Exploration & Production's Application and Data Management where you will be part of a small team that supports the business with both processes and tools. The department is a part of Exploration & Production, which has 700 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We explore for and produce oil and natural gas. Today, our activities are centered in the seas off Denmark, Norway and the United Kingdom, and we have an ambitious growth strategy with many exciting projects in the pipeline. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect to travel in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Senior IT Specialist, your main responsibilities are to maintain a full understanding of the architecture of the production management systems and work with the IT specialists to ensure stability. Thus, you ensure that the data flows related to production management are optimised in relation to the asset workflows and reporting requirements. In addition, you will assist the Asset organisation with the implementation of system changes. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •work with IT and business stakeholders to support relevant IT and Data Management strategies for the end-to-end production data value chain and ensure mutual understanding of processes and workflows and opportunities for improvement through use of IT •maintain an overview of all production related IT and Data Management systems in DONG Energy Exploration & Production and ensure that the end-to-end IT architecture of the production data value chain is fully documented •act as focal point for production related IT and Data Management issues and ensure that technical problems are resolved in a timely fashion. Maintain technical contact regarding the IT systems with suppliers and partners •participate in the development of business cases for change (process or technology). Your profile The main tools used are Tietos’ Energy Components and Osisoft PI, and knowledge within these tools is preferable. You demonstrate an understanding of the business workflows and data types relating to Hydrocarbon Production Data. You have proven skills, knowledge and experience with Oracle Databases, as well as IT architecture and network principles. You are well versed in data cleansing and loading, both high- and low-frequency data. You demonstrate basic understanding of ICS/SCADA/historian technologies and protocols (OPC). As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently, and that you have good communication skills, enabling you to communicate confidently and efficiently with your internal and external stakeholders. You have a proactive approach to your work and possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
