Senior JAVA lead developer for society-critical projects

A technical sounding board
As senior JAVA developer you will be taking the technical lead in the team, managing the technical aspects of software solutions for our public-sector customers. These customers include the National Police of Denmark, SKAT, and the municipal IT community KOMBIT. First and foremost, you will be required to familiarize yourself with all the ins and outs of the customer's domain, organization, and IT portfolio, and ensure that its IT solutions meet its needs and objectives with high regard to quality. You will be required to maintain an overview of the solutions while also getting down into the nitty-gritty of the technology. You will join our Key Accounts market unit, which specializes in developing, maintaining, and operating complex IT solutions. Here you will work closely alongside project managers, the development team, and testers, as well as in close partnership with the customer.

You will be involved in a broad variety of tasks:

• Preparing and clarifying features in collaboration with customer and project architects
• Planning and developing features
• Provide sparring for maintaining and developing infrastructure
• Analyzing issues and maintaining solution

Inspiring those around you
Ideally, we are looking for someone with a Master's degree within computer science or engineering. As a minimum, you have 5 years of experience playing a technical role in a large organization.You have experience as a Lead Developer and possess deep knowledge within one or more of the following technologies: JAVA EE, Docker, Kubernetes, Hibernate, MySQL, Maven and SCRUM. And in addition, preferably experience with one or more of the following: Linux experience, SSL/TLS knowledge and Jenkins or Teamcity and/or GIT. Finally it will be seen as an advantage if you have Enterprise application experience.

You always have your eye on quality and improvement and have a natural flair for working with and improving processes.

As far as your personal qualities are concerned, you have in-depth working experience of co-operative environments and find teamwork energizing and see yourself as a strong team player as well as inspiring mentor who can establish a team spirit. You are proactive and able to use your excellent professional skills and experience to demonstrate the informal and technical leadership that your role as lead developer requires. You have the ability to work with large domains and you easily get acquainted with new domains. Lastly, you are eager to join a highly qualified team working in a dynamic environment where you learn something new every day.

Experience with public-sector customers is a plus, but not essential.Last but not least, you need to be fluent in written and spoken English.
