Would you like to set the course for and develop a skilled team of Lean engineering experts? Can you coach stakeholders and ensure that we continuously improve our processes? Then join the Lean Engineering department consisting of 5 highly skilled Lean experts who support our Technology & Engineering organisation in optimising internal processes and reducing lead-time, hereby increasing quality and reducing costs for new production lines, equipment and products. As senior/lead specialist, you get a leading role in supporting and developing the team. You refer to Senior Manager Søren Brøndum. ”We are ambitious in our constant focus on creating improvements. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? At Grundfos, Lean is key in ensuring a world-class production, and as a senior/lead specialist, you become responsible for developing our Lean engineering models and ensuring that valuable Lean knowledge is implemented throughout the organisation via training and assessment tools. Your job will be to coach, support and develop project managers, senior specialists and other stakeholders to show Lean behaviour and employ Lean strategies in their deliverables. Helping us optimise processes when developing new technology or equipment, you will be a valued sparring partner who ensures quality and competency development through change management. “You are the Lean role model for your team, exuding Lean behaviour in your own management style. Working with a range of stakeholders across the organisation, you help set the direction for our Lean processes within engineering while playing an important part in implementing your strategies,” Søren says. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You have an engineering or technology background combined with solid experience with technology-based operations and change management, where you have optimised processed and reduced waste, preferably from the auto industry and/or a global technology company. Any leadership experience and/or Lean education is a plus. You are fluent in English, and it is an advantage if you also speak Danish. “On a personal level, you are detail-oriented and you understand processes to the core while being able to have a general view, allowing you to work on an operational, tactical as well as strategic level. Your personal drive generates positive energy, and you are able to get people on board with your ideas. Finally, you have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and you understand that involving employees in a change process is a very important element in achieving success,” Søren finishes.
