Then you might be the Senior LEAN Consultant we are looking for in Contract & Local Manufacturing. About the department Contract & Local Manufacturing (CLM) is part of Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply organisation. CLM is responsible for Novo Nordisk’s outsourced drug manufacturing world-wide. The primary role of CLM is to select, monitor and control the production handled by Contract Manufactures in countries like India, Bangladesh, Algeria, Egypt, Russia, Japan and Central Europe. Furthermore CLM is involved in the establishment of new production sites in countries where local presence is required in order to obtain market access. You will join a team of 8 skilled colleagues in CLM Business Support (BS). CLM BS is responsible for delivering support to the organisation and CLM Management Team by ensuring efficient business processes and Project Management based on best practice. The job As Senior LEAN Consultant you will use LEAN methods and tools to solve critical problems related to outsourced production of Novo Nordisk products. In particular, you will be called upon by the Senior Management Team when critical issues arise. The Management Team will rely on your extensive skills to run projects that address various issues - from environmental monitoring at a Contract Manufacturer to communication-challenges with internal and external key stakeholders. Typically you will plan and execute projects with a tight deadline and a high impact on quality and/or delivery of products. Your ability to facilitate problem solving processes, manage a project team and provide clear communication and recommendations to the Management Team is key to your success in the role. The output of the problem solving should serve as basis for creating simple and sustainable, long term solutions that improve business results and level of compliance. As part of the job you should also expect to play an important role in transforming long term strategic goals to concrete projects, with the purpose of improving the way the organisation utilises LEAN tools and methods to improve processes. The job as Senior LEAN Consultant offers frequent Senior Management interactions and the chance to build strong relationships in a highly diverse international stakeholder landscape. By solving complex problems you can unfold your talent and skills to improve the way Novo Nordisk corporates with contract manufacturers. Regular travel activity should be expected. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree, e.g. within engineering or another relevant field and you have a proven track record of LEAN experience and strong results combined with solid experience within Project Management. You have strong analytical skills and excel at systematically identifying root cause to problems as well as business needs. Additionally, you have strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present, facilitate and influence stakeholders at different levels of the organisation and from different cultures. You work independently and have a high drive to achieve results. Fluency in both written and oral English is a pre-requisite.
