Senior Manager for Engineering CAE and Front End teams

If you have a technical background and are looking for a senior management position full of possibilities, this is a major opportunity. You lead 17 specialists and succeed by providing a clear direction and constant development - and by reaching out to internal and external stakeholders. Lead two teams of experts As Senior Manager, you lead two teams. 8 specialists in a CAE team, who are doing development in regards to e.g. flow, strength, warp and bending on LEGO® Elements and moulds. And 9 specialists in a Front End team, who support the early phase of product development to ensure better technical solving within play tests and give a go/no go to the technical solution. The purpose of CAE is primarily to be visionary and on beat with the technological development, whereas the Front End team has to find technical solutions on highly complex functions within the LEGO® Building system. Specifically, this means that you match and challenge highly specialised individuals, while you: Listen to your employees and deliver a framework and direction from which you can lead, develop and motivate them, personally as well as professionally Involve yourself outside of the LEGO Group to ensure that we are following best practice and are on par with the constantly developing simulations tools and software programs Ensure technical documentation and conclusions/recommendations, just as you become responsible for deliverables and make sure that agreements are held Do stakeholder management to secure good relations across the LEGO Group, not least within Engineering and Marketing, on a senior level Make ready for future challenges You join a collaborative team structure in a company famed for its creativity. At the same time, you make sure to actively cultivate relations to stakeholders, not least externally, to raise the bar in regards to our solutions. Leadership skills, technical understanding and CAE IT competences This role requires you to create great collaboration both internally and externally. You are looking for every possibility to widen the teams' horizons and continuously improve our specialist competences.
