Senior Manager (Strategic Partnerships), Corporate Strategy

Corporate Strategy is a group function in Nets and organized under the CFO. The unit is responsible for translating market intelligence into concrete business development proposals and formulates Nets’ response to the changing market forces. Other key responsibilities include ensuring smooth execution of Nets corporate strategy, exploiting new digital disruptions and driving strategic partnerships at a group level. We are now looking for a Senior Manager to drive our future strategic partnerships to drive growth and strengthen market position. You will report to the Head of Corporate Strategy. Key reponsibilities and tasks •Drive revenues and strengthen market position through solid cooperation with financial institutions, IT providers and Fintechs (in cooperation with digital business development initiative) •Ensure smooth handover of new partnership to the line organisation when relevant •Ensure a close alignment with the relevant business unit •Utilise market intelligence in a structured way to ensure high quality partnerships and smart business models •Offer strategy support to business Preferred background and qualifications •At least 8 years of hands-on (execution) experience with strategic partnerships •Background from a business school – at least Master’s level •Solid track record in sales and business development •Strong commercial focus with insights into different partner setups with small and large players •Strong negotiation, analytical and presentation skills (e.g., in conferences, executive management meetings) •Knowledge of emerging digital technologies and Fintechs (in Nordics) •Background from payments, banking and professional services is strongly preferred Preferred personal qualities •Ability to inspire and develop new commercial ideas •Result oriented with high focus on agreed targets •Action oriented, pragmatic and decisive •Passion for high performance and quality at work •Strong professional network in the Nordic financial industry •Fluent in English and one Scandinavian language We can offer you •Competitive salary, pension and insurance schemes •Challenging tasks that contributes to both professional and personal growth and development •The opportunity to be part of a company recognised by growth, innovation and development •A thriving environment characterised by team play and informality •A variety of activities within sports, culture, and within the social arena Region: Region Hovedstaden Job type: Permanent Working hours: Full-time Working days: Day Application deadline: 24/02/2016 Expected Start Date: As soon as possible Location: Copenhagen, Oslo or Stockholm depending on where we find the right candidate Contacts: Bishwajit Choudhary Mobile: +47 91580847 Home page: http://www.nets.eu
