Senior Manager to focus on supplier quality management

Do you want to be part of securing the quality of our supply chain for offshore wind farms?

Join us and become Senior Manager for Supplier Quality Management where you’ll be responsible for leading a team of highly experienced quality managers who on a daily basis engage with different internal stakeholders and quality organisations at contractors and suppliers. The department is split between Copenhagen, Skærbæk and Taiwan. You’ll work closely with the management team in OF Quality on setting a direction for quality within Offshore.

Your key tasks will be to

• ensure implementation of a risk-based supplier assessment and development approach, applicable for known markets and new markets with a high portion of local content and low mature suppliers
• develop the department, focusing on deliveries for our customers and setting a clear direction linked to the company’s overall direction for the Offshore business unit
• align the strategy for the area towards the overall sourcing strategy and towards product quality
• align Offshore’s supplier quality requirements and management processes towards our one company vision
• ensure resources towards internal stakeholders and that the quality of the work carried out in the department follows our processes with focus on a risk-based approach.

Furthermore, you’ll work closely with the business and other stakeholders when delivering your tasks in an agile environment. You’ll manage the team and stakeholders at all levels, and you’ll be responsible for the supplier and contractor quality development strategy across our portfolio of projects.

Your competences include that you

• have experience with managing engineers and highly experienced quality managers
• have experience with managing people of different backgrounds and across geographical distances
• have experience with setting direction and developing an area in a new market setup
• have experience with aligning strategy, directions and deliveries in a dynamic environment with a large number of stakeholders and different perspectives
• have a master’s degree within quality management, manufacturing or similar.

Moreover, sharing your visions with others makes you flourish, and you posess a drive for succeeding with your team. Having experience with Six Sigma is a plus, but not a must. Having a proven record of strategy execution is also a plus.
