Can you lead a team of highly specialised professionals to bring further innovation into technical element design of the famous LEGO Bricks? Then come join the LEGO Group's Technical Element Design (TED) department, where you will play a key role in enabling us to meet future challenges head on. Enable the enablers You will lead the fairly new Innovation & Enabling team, consisting of 10 colleagues in Billund and 1 in China, and set the direction for professional and knowledge-intensive specialists and project managers. Their mission is to lead, drive and support innovation and business enabling in the 100 people strong TED department as well as in some of the Engineering departments in the LEGO Group. To succeed in delivering specialist knowledge and skills as well as project management and participation in both internal TED projects and cross-organisational projects, the team needs you to: Focus on motivating the team to develop and maintain high performance and global orientation as well as building the expertise to successfully deliver on projects and activities Play an active leadership role and be the team's front runner in a consistently changing organisation Further establish and preserve a global network that spans across the LEGO Group and includes external stakeholders Scout for new technologies to make the team first movers in TED, e.g. through close contacts with universities and scientists Help create project and activity plans and budgets and secure transparency on team and individual performances with regards to quality and resources Stakeholder management in a connected community You will be working in a supportive, collaborative team structure and network where your excellent stakeholder management skills put you and the team on the road to success. Technical understanding and leadership experience This is a position that requires you to have technical understanding combined with an authentic and energising leadership style to lead highly competent and knowledgeable specialists. You enjoy networking and have the stakeholder management skills to develop the right connections for the team and to ensure its success. As a person, you are outspoken, courageous and gifted with the ability to keep calm and see the greater perspective when priorities shift or things get hectic.
