Maersk Drilling Technical Organization is looking for an engineer with experience from maintaining complex systems. We Offer The Maintenance & Material Management section in the Technical Organization is responsible for the full maintenance system of the Fleet Assets, incl. all major maintenance projects involving our existing fleet and for the development of our project management skills, ensuring that our project managers can deliver the leadership and support necessary to help run a first class fleet of drilling rigs around the world. As Senior Mechanical Engineer in Analysis & Optimization team within Maintenance and Material management you will be part of a team that support our two fleet teams as technical maintenance expert primarily within engines and thrusters. You will in this role work closely together with another engineer in the same area. Key Responsibilities We are currently in the process of developing new Equipment Maintenance strategies and developing these will be one of your main tasks. Another key task will be to uncover ways to decrease maintenance cost without jeopardizing operational up-time. Implementing these improvements and document the processes within the area of expertise. You will also perform technical assessment of reliability studies carried out by our analyst team and jointly recommend appropriate changes to applicable maintenance tasks and intervals. Last but not last you will provide technical support to operation. Who we are looking for You have a theoretical background on a Bachelor's or Master's level as Mechanical Engineer. The position will require regular contact and liaising with many different people both internally in Maersk Drilling as well as externally with subcontractors and manufactures. You must have good communication and social skills effective across a spectrum of nationalities and cultures. You have a strong focus on delivering quality in your work, you are well structured and systematic and you can maintain an overview while handling several activities in parallel. You enjoy working as a part of a team and deliver results through a team effort. We expect you to have relevant experience from a maintenance organization, preferably from ex. train-, aircraft- or windmill industry and to have solid knowledge of maintenance concepts including predictive maintenance.
