Do you want to be a key player in transforming our international B2B business? We are looking for both a Senior and a Lead Business Analyst for our new internal start-up: Integrated Solutions for Businesses which will offer radical new and unique 'Energy as a Service' solutions to our customers. The start-up is part of our International Sales B2B unit, which is responsible for bringing value-adding energy solutions to customers in our markets in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and the United Kingdom. We are +350 employees in the unit, working at eight different office locations in the four countries. As our key expert on value creation from decentralised energy technologies, such as WTG, PV, storage and CHP, as well as energy efficiency measures and advanced energy management software, you will work in close cooperation with the customers, business development managers, sales engineers and key experts in our team to define the optimal solution for the customer. Hence, you will maintain a high level of customer activity, engaging with all management levels at the customers. Integrated Solutions for Businesses is part of Distribution & Customer Solutions, which has 1,600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We handle the production from our wind farms and oil and gas fields to the energy exchanges and customers in Northern Europe, and we distribute electricity and natural gas to businesses and private customers in Denmark. You will be based at our office in Virum in the greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect to travel approximately 50 days per year in relation to your work. Your key tasks will be to •be responsible for exploring and identifying new market opportunities, developing new business and managing roadmaps •be responsible for creating competitive value propositions, products and services and bespoke customer solutions, which leverage core competences from across DONG Energy combined with capabilities in decentralised energy technologies and opportunities in the energy and reserve markets •monitor short and long term trends in the market as well as the regulatory development •participate in sales meetings, contract negotiations and delivery projects •handle internal and external communication and promotion of the 'Energy as a Service' business •participate in knowledge management related to our 'Energy as a Service' business. Our new 'Energy as a Service' offering covers every customer need within energy efficiency, embedded generation and energy management. You will be responsible for developing value-creating products and services, based on your deep understanding of the customer needs, market opportunities and technology capabilities. As we scale up the organisation, the right candidate will have the chance to pursue a team lead role for the business analyst team. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •have very strong entrepreneurial skills •have several years of experience within business development or quantitative analytics •hold a master’s degree in economics, engineering or similar •are technology-savvy, being familiar with several decentralised energy technologies, eg WTG, PV, storage, CHP and energy efficiency •have a strong market and regulatory understanding of the British and German energy markets as well as energy system balancing. You have a pro-active and self-driven approach to your work as well as a strong analytic and systematic mind-set, which enables you to be extremely customer-oriented and highly result-focused. In addition, you are persistent with a holistic view on potential solutions with a strong focus on details. Moreover, you have very good communication skills and better than average competences in regards to numeracy and literacy. You may have a background from a utility company, as an energy trader or from an engineering company or an energy service company. We offer A key role in starting up a new business unit
